Achievements
Brendan was born in Brandon, Manitoba and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He graduated from St. Paul’s High School as valedictorian before attending Western University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts – Honours Business Administration with distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Juris Doctor from Western Law. While at Western University Brendan became President of the Purple Spur Society, one of Western’s oldest and largest clubs, and led it to raise $30,000 for the Children’s Aid Society of London and Middlesex through social events and charitable initiatives. He was also a member of the Western Law Social Committee and the Western Law Hockey Team, which competed against other law schools in Southern Ontario.
While from Winnipeg, Brendan spent virtually every summer from 2011 onwards in the Kenora area, first at Redden’s Camp on Longbow Lake and then his family cottage on Lake of the Woods. He spent his summers during law school working at Hook, Seller & Lundin before completing his articles after graduating from Western Law in the spring of 2025. He became an associate at the firm following his call to the bar in June of 2026.
Outside of work Brendan is an avid fan of the Winnipeg Jets and Winnipeg Blue Bombers and watches a variety of sports. He enjoys playing golf, hockey and guitar, and spending time on the lake with his friends and family.
